There's been a couple members here that have bought ATK engines, maybe someone will pop in. I'm taking a serious look at the HP101 myself, will be doing an engine swap this spring.
Hi Matt, Welcome to the site, and these look like great engines, at great prices, I am also looking, for a nice drop in crate HO engine , have you also looked at others, I was looking at White Performance, and they too seem to have nice ones, however because there seems to be soooo many choices , it really makes it hard to decide, I hope others will keep chiming in
I have been running a ZZ383 from GMPP for years now. Been a great motor and has a great power band for a street motor. All new parts and a GM warranty. Not taking anything away from ATK. They make good motors. Just as a comparison http://www.jegs.com/p/Chevrolet-Per...luxe-383ci-435HP-Crate-Engine/754258/10002/-1
I have been looking at the GM motors , and really for the money, and like you said, all NEW parts, and new BLOCK and everything, does seem to be one of the best options , as i noticed that ATK, uses rebuild cores,
I endorse skip white performance. Ive purchased two short block assemblies from them. All parts were new and as promised delivered with good service and I think a good price.
Skip, has gotten himself a bad name, however White Performance , is no longer associated with Skip, and I believe that they also seem to make nice engines at a good price point.
