I purchased an item from a nice guy named ted today. And he showed me a 383 shortblock that he has.30 over on the bore new eagle crank ,sir rods and forged probe pistons.Lot's of machine work on the block.Studed four bolt mains and a bhj Balancer. He wants a$1000.00 for it. So if someone is in the market call ted at 850-3046. He also has some msd stuff all new in box. That will get your camaro burning some rubber!!!!!

I thought about it and decided I'll buy the 383! It's a great deal and with such quality components.

    It's a .30 over 350 block with a 400 crank(stroke)so technically it's a 388 cubic inch I believe.Ok I talked to my machinist and a .30 over 350 block would be a 385 and a .60 over would be a 388.
