I have the enclosure box and I have the clip (#3973666) that's supposed to hold the box to the underside of the rear speaker. I'm at a loss as to where this clip attaches so that it will support the enclosure. Anyone done this? It's for a 1971 Camaro with driver side rear speaker.

The original speaker had a stud attached to the speaker magnet. If yours doesn't, than you will have to attach one with epoxy or similar or fab a bracket.

Thanks, that makes sense. I'm getting a replacement speaker that's supposed to be an original 10 ohm speaker that has been re-coned. The existence of the stud will confirm just how original it is.

70L34 is someone that use to make these speaker enclosures who is lives in Canada. I bought the pair of enclosures/brackets from him about 8 or 10 years ago. His brackets work on current speakers. You may want to send him a PM.

Please checkout information at the link below about him. He sells the brackets that attach to the speakers that holds up the enclosure around the speaker.
