Can anyone recommend the correct b&m shifter cable length for a 73 camaro th400 with a console quick silver shifter?...I couldn't get the stock cable to work (I know it should work just fine) and Im done messing with it and im just going to order the b&m cable from summit.

I’ve got the same set up in my 79. Used bracket and lever kit ( BMM-35498 ) and cable ( BMM-80605 ) from Summit. Both part numbers are B&M. The stock? lever and cable never did work very well on mine either. It was always to tight pulling down to first gear. Works just fine now. Hope this helps.

    You'll be fine...

I have BBC / TH400 combo on my car and the 4' long cable is just perfect.
But due to my deep pan design the bracket (as seen from the pic.) needed to be modify for better fitment.

I looped it "S" shape on top of the transmission.
