Ball joints

Anyone have the source for ball joints ,factory correct, researched them and can't get a good answer some say lowers are off the shelf items that seams right the uppers have different options on the look, doing a nice car and have to be correct who sell the right ones thanks always get the and here.!!

Lower ones are very hard to find. I've been looking for over a year. Part number 9751193. They have a metal tab that later ones and replacements do not have. They were replaced by pn 9756251 in August of 1974.

If originality means something to you then expect to pay a premium if you can find them.

Call my mechanic Ed 714-891-7207. He just replaced mine and they seem to be same but new for my 70.

Do you mean your old ones have the tab or the new ones? Almost always when they get replaced the rubber boots are torn unless they cut the A-arm bore to relieve the press fit.

Mechanic was not there first still recovering from covid. And the tech working on the car said not replaced. But when I get the car next week I'll ask the mechanic about this item.
