Let me give you an example of what i was talking about with the battery and wires that go to it. Lets say you've got your main 'big' alternator wire running to your battery (some route it to the starter, but we'll assume the battery here). You'd remove the neg battery terminal, then remove the pos batt terminal. remove the alternator wire from the battery. reinstall the pos battery terminal. Now here's the important part. The last thing you'd do is reinstall the neg battery terminal. When you do this, and see spark, you've got draw and most likely found the culprit. If no spark, continue with any other remaining wires going to battery. hope that makes sense.
