    I thought your hood might be like that! Did you use an insert in the hood from a ZL1 or one from a Vette? I was thinking of doing the same for my 71. It's either that or a cowl induction flapper like on the Chevelles and El Caminos. My thinking was that the cowl hood needs something extra.
