BF’s are Michelin, ok, we know, let’s move on. LMAO.
So we have:
Mickey Thompson STs
Mastercraft Avengers. Walmart/ Amazon has them...not a bad looking tire at all.
Hankook makes some ugly, ugly ones that I've found on some sites, and in Pep Boys. But they are ugly.
In Canada if you bought Mastercraft tires, they would relate it to Canadian Tire/Crap Tire/Crappy Tire store.
Theres Avon CR6ZZ rubber for the guys who like the finer things in life.
not available in the US. Also not RWL for those that want letters.
There are a couple other choices IF you don't need a performance 'image' tire: Firestone Destination LE3 and General Altimax RT43. They are both available in white letters in certain sizes including 225/70-15. They are both terrific values. I think the Firestone is a particularly good looking tire.
For cleaning the white lettering Castrol super clean works well. Don't spay on the tire it's pretty strong stuff. Just a little spray on a cloth over your finger and then do each letter.
Many other options out there for us 15" wheel guys then most people know about. Sascosports is a supplier of Avons/Mich/ Toyo / Hoosier. Most will be painted white letters and not the vulcanized we're used to seeing. Check em out, some are DOT some are not. Everyone is a better option the the tires mentioned in previous posts. Avon CR6ZZ is my flavor of choice. Letter this up with Billboard type font and Im dry humping the air.
