Body Shop in Houston Area

Gents,

Anyone had a good experience with a body shop here in the Houston area. I am in Friendswood.

Need to get my 79 in somewhere as I am realizing I just will not get it done. Needs quarter replacement, general bodywork and paint

I'm still looking for a shop to get my body media blasted and primed so I can see just how much steel needs replacing in the backend. I found one close to me that seemed reasonable but haven't been back to talk to them for awhile. When I did talk to them, they had a pretty reasonable hourly rate, at least it seemed reasonable to me but for the life of me I can't remember what it was now. Must be suffering from a case of C.R.A.F.T. syndrome! The shop is The Texas Hotrod Company. They are located in the NW, a little north of Spring Cypress and east of 249.

Da-bigguy. If you have the equipment to prime it have one of the mobile dustless blasting companies come out. After they blast you just need to get some primer on it within a day or so I believe.

Thanks, sorry for the late reply but I'm sitting offshore Trinidad on a job right now. I've given that some thought in the past but don't know if my HOA would be too happy with me getting that done at home. I can prime it as I have a spray gun and compressor that I used when I replaced the front clip on my Acadia. I will have to look into that option some more as I would love to start making progress on my car soon!
