So I just got my Showcars flares in. Still wrapped up. I will take a pic in the morning when I unwrap.
They are not bolt on but mold on type.
    Just for a comparison.
Sorry if I am hijacking, let me know.

Don’t be sorry at all! I would love to see them and think they are perfectly relevant for this thread!

Well ok.......I am not impressed with it. I don't think it fits very well.
No way am I cutting that much fender off. I have a response about it to them.tried both on one side.neither one fit right to me.

I don’t think I would be comfortable cutting that much of my car off...

Weight savings they will say. Rigidity reduction is what I would say.

How do the fronts look? That looks way too high over the tire, but the ends look they are already on the edge of the bottom of the car. How much were they?

I made a deal for just the rears.
These look so large that I can fit nitro dragster slicks under there. No I don't have mini tubs.
Hope for a refund 350 is to much for this
I hope they refund my $. I guess I could cut it up to fit but hell no.

For getting a deal, $350 for just the rears seems like way too much considering how they don’t fit well and the work involved to get them to fit.

Had someone hold my bolt-on flares against the fenders so I could take a step back and look at them. They seem like they’ll look pretty good. I’m afraid to cut up good fenders, but I think it’ll be worth it.

Rob from Showcars called me today.
He said that I need to cut them in the middle and take off a little till it fits my tires and opening.o_O
Turns out he does not have a Camaro in Canada that he can look at and fix the molds to be shorter for a little bit bigger tire.

luckily I can do the mod he describes. Shame I even have to do that!
well jury still out on if I do put them on or not..... well see when I get closer to that point in the build.

Wow, that name still makes me cringe. Surprised you got them at all, and not so surprised they fit like crap.
Speaking from direct personal experience, be careful with this business and how you deal with them/him.
That's all I will say on this.

Well I was mad but I also wanted these flares.
Just having them is half the battle for my project.
Good cheap flares are hard to get.
