That serrated bolt is correct for a 79 as well. Not sure when you were looking for them but AMK sells them today. Just bought them about 4 weeks ago.

was just about 6 months ago I was looking for them, unfortunately I was looking for them in canada and it's not as easy to get some things up here. somehow theres no parts store that holds a candle to places like summit up here ,unless its a popular aftermarket part or oe replacement that chevy also used on a dozen other vehicles its not easy to find or get shipped here. took 2 years, 4 attempts and cost over $200 just for a speedo drive gear
Seeing auctions like that makes me wish I had stripped my 78 of every stupid little piece of hardware before I scrapped it... 25 years ago. The salvage yards had plenty of rubber bumper Camaros back in the early 90's.
