If you haven't noticed I like to jump around on the things that I work on...To keep from burning out and getting tired of the project. Today I began to address the last of the rust repair. The rear window channel had a small hole and as soon as I started sanding it and the putty fell away, it became a larger repair. After patching this I went to clean up the rest of the window channel and of course I found another area full of putty and patched that as well. Tomorrow I will be tackling the final wheel well quarter panel area..

Looks good, what are you using for the front and rear, thee stuff I found as a replacement was not as good as the original stuff that I took off, the old stuff was even more pliable then the new, HAA HA

I'm using the original front and rear windlace type pieces.

So I ruined the headliner today. I had taped the wires for the dome light between the 2 screws for the dome light housing. I went to cut the hole and did not realize that the tape had come loose and the wiring had shifted forward so I cut the hole too far forward. Now I have to redo the headliner with a new one. I was very mad and said some words that were vile.
Another issue..After wiring up the wire harness for the JVC Stereo I bought I find out that it does not have bluetooth even though the online description said it did. So I cut out the old harness and spent an hour soldering in the new one.
On a positive note, I was finally able to get the lower dash leveled out and look decent after a lot of work lying down and reaching under the dash.

Well that sucks, on the headliner, however, if your install looked like mine, a second go at it, would not be the worst thing , HAA HA

I lucked out and found a guy less than 10 miles away who had a complete backseat set in much better condition than mine for only $75.
