Getting ready to do an exhaust on my 78, going to remove the cat/manifold and do stubby headers with either a Borla Touring or S-Type system.

I’m afraid the touring will be too quiet, or the S-Type is too loud..

Anyone out there have experience with both, or either, on a stock 78 350?

Here's a vid of the loudest atak. But from what I have heard none of their muffs are very quiet.

Yea, ATAK is too much for me. Here is a vid of all three on a header small block car:

I’m leaning toward the S-type, as I could add resonators for 200 bucks if it’s too loud, versus spending 500 for new mufflers if it’s too quiet.

Just get some '68 Steve McQueen Bullitt Mustang mufflers. Perfect sound.
