Brake warning light

Just got my restoration project moving under its own power. Completely new, stock configuration brake system on a 78 Z28. The brake warning light comes on if I step on the brake pedal hard enough. If I press it slowly it won’t come on.

It’s not the parking brake switch as I’ve disconnected it to rule that out.

I’ve already bled the brakes twice. Any ideas?

If it comes on when you depress the brake pedal, it says you have uneven pressure between front and rear brakes. The problem could be air still left in the system, the master cylinder not making equal pressure front to rear, or anything else that causes uneven pressure.
