How much do you think that thing is worth

 

its only worth what someone will pay for it

 

i almost wonder if it was stolen and hidden away...

Yep. Last year, was it? They cleaned it up and put it on Ebay. Don't know if it ever sold.

 

Never got the money they were asking, something around $30k I think. Interesting car for sure and it looked great when they got it all cleaned up. Be neat to find a 70z in that condition.

 

Does anyone know the story on how the guy got it.

 

There was a thread on thirdgen.org about it....he did eventually sell it and the new owner had driven it a bit....it cleaned up nice.

a 85 Roc? probably not much 305 at best. Remember when those things where new. The 80's mustangs would beat the snot out of them all day everyday. IROCs didn't have teeth until 87-88 when they finally decided to put the 350 back in them. By then then run was over Think GM sold the IROC name to Dodge or something. Remeber seeing a dodge daytona IROC in 90. Supposedly a 2.2 liter turbo putting out 200HP.
Even with 100 miles on it, I wouldn't want it. I'm a TA 3rd gen kind of guy. The Irocs never did anything for me and I was in the minority.
