I am wondering can you fit a set of brembo brake calipers on a 72 camaro
In what regard? Wheel size is your main concern. Many brakes will fit on a sec gen with the correct kit
I just bought a set of used 5th gen callipers and rotors. I will let you know in a couple months. I know you can buy everything needed for the rear from bigbrakeupgrade.com, but the front will be a custom bracket and hub. And you will need at least 17in wheels maybe 18's.
Ok I have my calipers and rotors. After a bit of sizing up it looks like they will mount up pretty easy front and rear. The only problem will be with the rim clearance, not the diameter but the caliper face to rotor clearance. Which depends on the rims you are running.
Only 2.5 years later but I have my fronts figured out. I am using 6th gen calipers and rotors with brackets from Bigbrakeupgrade.com. With the 6th gen I will not need a wheel spacer for the caliper to clear my wheels. The 5th gen callipers and rotors will also work but I will need 12mm wheel spacers.
Any chance you could post a picture of bracket, maybe with some dimensions
If you go on bigbrakeupgrade.com there are pictures of the bracket. It is not my design so it wouldn't be right to share the dimensions of it.
Good job, nice upgrade for the money!
