Started working on the last of the floor repair today, the left front toe board. The lower part of the front subframe mount was also rusted through so I repaired it with a donor piece.

I haven't posted in some time, the project has been old hold for a bit Cause I have been busy with the kids. I finally got to get back to it this week, got the tail panel welded on, patched a rust hole in the trunk, and got it back on the rotisserie to finish the rest of the bottom. Hoping to make a lot of progress in the next couple of weeks. Will post pictures soon.

Very understandable. If your like me with them being out of school and home all day it really impacts what you are able to accomplish in the garage. What you have done so far looks great. :)

Well its been a pretty rough week, my grandpa, which was always like a father to me, passed away. I am finding it hard to get motivated again, gotta push myself to get back at it. Hopefully this week i can.

When I was sandblasting the bottom of the car, the sandblaster wouldn't even touch whatever it is that GM applied in the wheel houses. So today me and the angle grinder with a wire wheel got to know each other pretty well. Took me about an hour but I finally got that textured crap out of there. I am just glad the entire bottom of car wasn't covered with it, although it probably would have never rusted anywhere.
