Been a few days since I had a chance to get back to the garage, but finally did today. Got the subframe epoxied:

Hoping to get it all painted tomorrow.

Almost forgot, I also took the rear axle completely apart, then cleaned and epoxied. Also finished cleaning and epoxied the inner whel houses and inner tail panel.

Hopefully tomorrow I will get the U-pol Gravitex sprayed too.

Today I cleaned the garage a little, then sprayed the U-Pol Gravitex on the bottom of the car. It has real nice texture and sprayed real well. In the pictures it is hard to see the texture and it looks gray but it is actually flat black which surprised me because on the bottle it says it would be gloss. So I guess I will just have to top coat it with some gloss or semi gloss black. I ran a little short on the stuff so I didn't get to completely finish it (drivers inner wheel house was all that is left). I had two bottles.

I also popped the ball joints and rest of the bushings out of the control arms, and got two coats of Sherwin-Williams black fast dry enamel sprayed on them, the sub frame, and rear axle.

Well its been a pretty rough week, my grandpa, which was always like a father to me, passed away. I am finding it hard to get motivated again, gotta push myself to get back at it. Hopefully this week i can.

Hey buckeye79, I missed this, sorry to hear about your grandpa, you're doing great on the car & I'm sure he'd be proud of you!! :D Hang in there! :)

Thanks for the condolences guys Life goes on you can't dwell in the past, And I am sure he would be proud as well.. I have to say that just seeing parts being painted is quite a motivator. I am at work right now and the only thing I can think about right now is what I am going to get done when I get home LOL.

Not much to update on the car today except that I got my paint and a front spoiler. I had to buy the complete nose just to get the spoiler but, you gotta do what you gotta do. LOL.
The paint is a 2002-2009 Nissan color Merlot pearl metallic. I have been going back and forth between this and a couple other reds, blue and orange for a while now. Getting this $500 dollar gallon of Dupont chromabase on Ebay for only $89.00 helped with the decision. Here is a small picture of the color:
