Burnout Back-up gone wrong

That's pretty crazy, wonder if something broke in the steering or rear axle.

Perhaps the throttle hung or bound up in reverse and then stuck at wot after hitting the wall.

I remember watching this Top Fuel dragster crash while backing up after a burnout at OCIR . I think this was a license pass if I remember correctly

I did a burn out in a 1967 impala in reverse and the TH350 broke in half. I never did that again in any car.

I did a neutral drop in reverse at WOT one day with a car that had a power glide in it. The car stopped moving in every gear after that. I swapped over to a 4 speed and when I took the P/G apart we couldn't find anything wrong with it.................Until I drained the converter and the end of the input shat fell out
