I can not tell from the pictures if the engine is the original but I can see it has been modified. Engine smoke is not good.

Lots of threads on this topic. Search "Ditzler" on this site. That's the name of the original paint and I don't think they make it anymore.

Does anyone know the paint code for the 5 spoke Z28 wheels for 1970 to 1973 cars. I have seen it called Argent Silver. It is a metallic Gray. I found a set and want to use them on my 1970 RS which I am cloning to a Z28. Thanks for the input!!

Z-28 70-74 Wheel Paint (Similar Shade To Original) ?????

I know the original lacquer formula for 70-74 Z28 wheels. Looking for a much more durable single stage (or BC/CC) PAINT that has very close color to ORIGINAL. NO Aerosol.........Using Epoxy Primer.......REAL Gun Dont want expense of PowderCoat

Restoration

Lacquer formula below painted by roeville nasty member and his note.
I used an old Sharpe (7030) detail gun with a .055 tip. I think I shot it using about 25-28 psi. This is an old siphon feed gun. - Mike
