Well... I guess we'll be able to test just how much Maverick can do with the sawzall
I would get 2 if you're going to get one. They are very social little buggers and will get depressed it they are all alone. Its a law in some countries!
My wife & I believe every critter we have or had needed a mate. We always had 2 guineas, finches, love birds, ferrets, cats, fish, etc.
Mav, not thinking of parting them out now, are you??? Ha!
I have classroom pet rats...they are pretty cool too!
You should get same sex. They breed like rabbits. The lady I got mine from had 15.
I think we're bringing one home today. We went to rescue over the weekend and found a really nice 4-year Pig old who's been at the shelter for a couple of months. Per the staff, he's never really wanted a buddy. They have tried to pair him up a few times, and they don't get along.
We went back the next day and my daughter volunteered and cleaned cages for about 5 hours. She loved it, so I think we're gonna pull the trigger.
Pics or it didn't happen.
A four year old Guinea Pig is already middle-aged.
While a rescue from a shelter is a nice thing and I’m sure your daughter will take good care of it...
They rarely live more than 10 years.
Losing a favorite pet while going through puberty can be tough on a kid.
Maybe a younger pig would be a better choice?
Or... Maybe I just think too much.
whelp he’s home. This is Coco
There's one little girl who will be too excited to sleep tonight.
