Bought my new '71 from an out of state dealer. Went to AAA dmv with title, insurance in hand to get it registered. They tell me since it was bought from a dealer, I must go to the main dmv office. At the DMV office they say we must inspect the car and vin number, I have the under hood picture of the vin that matches the title if needed, they ask me to pull it around. It's not here I say, I can't drive it without plates yet, give me a temporary or whatever to drive it here...no way you have to have it towed here!🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬! Frustration!

Mobile vin verification is how you solve this issue. $80 was what it cost to have them come out, spend 5 mins, and provide me an signed document for dmv. Easy peasy and had to do that on my 70 z28

Wow. Great information tip! I had no idea this service existed! Something the dmv would never tell you!

Don
This guy is asking a little more but like our groceries, everything is going up! This is saving me so much headaches!
Don’t even get me started on calif prices! $2.39 reg unleaded in texas yesterday. A quart of heavy cream is now $7 in calif while I paid $2.69 In texas this week. Literally my grocery bills here at the kis are easily 40% cheaper than back home in calif.
