Do we know what the car brought $$? I don't see it anywhere and ebay post seems to be deleted.
Buy it now for 40k. Deal of the year. Lasted about a half hour I think. I had the chance and was tempted but didn't do it. It would be an easy flip for at least a 10-20k profit, I would think. With its history it was a deal.
I see there's a green L78 on ebay now 65k. That makes 40k sound like a steal.
I am seriously mad at myself, I have been looking for something and original paint L78 with docs would have been all in... it really didn't need much other than manifolds and smog to make it correct, it has great original interior, was well equipped, matching numbers and Hugger Orange looks really good broken up with the stripes. Someone seriously got a great bargain.
So...inquiring minds want to know?????
Not for me to say...but it wasn't me. Sorry, gotta respect people's privacy.
Mike says they are going to show it, so you will most likely be seeing it again....maybe even in another magazine....
May 2012 Volume 9 Number 4 Issue of Camaro Performers...this is from the 2011 Muscle Car Nationals.
Well Mike came & loaded it up....gonna miss that rumble....but glad it's going to a good home...
Love that bumper hitch
When you get the car restored why not plan a bookend display of our cars. That would be cool. 65-10 dressed cars really "pop" on the visuals.
Well done on the purchase!
No restoration, just a good cleaning and neatening up, and mechanical make over. I want to leave it alone as much as posible. Thanks again ED!!!
