Looks like if I am coming tomorrow I will have to try and drive my car up. Worst case I have to call a tow truck I guess. Anybody know how much it is for a day tripper to bring his car into the show?
As I was driving up the highway I like 3500rpm non stop for over 30 miles
It was good to get the car out finally. That was the first time I have taken it anywhere in 2 years. Hopefully by next year my wife will have had her kidney transplant and I can make it back and spend more time with everybody.
Hope all goes well with your wife's transplant. Sorry to miss you at this year's nationals. One annoyance I had about the show was that I didn't get a chance to meet many of the Nasty members. I saw the usual suspects (my 9th show) but I see posts from others who were there but didn't meet. My car was parked by the Nasty tent from 8 to 3 both days and I sat with it for several hours, but there is a lot more to do than sit with a car. I was wearing my Nasty shirt and hat yet not a single person came up to me and said "Hey NastyZ, me too!"
Maybe next year Mike can offer special Nationals shirts in a bright orange that will let members recognize each other in the building or on the show field. It's a great opportunity to meet other members and I'm disappointed I didn't see more of them. Hope to see some new people at next year's show.
It's called Human Nature..............Many people dont care to "break the ice"
and meet other like minded people.
Look at how many "members" of this web site wont even use a FIRST name or general location when posting........Privacy my "azz" ...it's just plain rude and unkind !!!!
My name is still Chuck Sharin living in Auburn, WA....and the next time I attend the CAMARO Nationals it would be a pleasure to meet with you.
