can go faster than 90mph!

    So I taking a cruise late last night, and i decided to punch it, i got to 90mph and car would NOT! go faster, so let go of the gas and punched it(i know dumb but anyways) it boged once it hit 90?im thinking its the tranny, but idk any ideas?thank in advanced!

    Sounds like a timing or fuel issue to me.

    what makes you think the problem is with the transmission? I would also think it is more likely to be engine related, but without more info, it will be hard to speculate. Good luck.

    A stuck one way clutch (stator failure) in the converter would give same symptoms. Do you have strange sounds from converter?

    Thanks guys but i found a huge puddle of trans-oil i guess since it was at night i totally missed it, seems to be coming from the front trans seal i guess its coming out!

    90 mph is good! The speed limit is 65 mph anyway.... ;)
