I've paid for carfax many a time in the past. I did not plan on needing a report anytime soon however, I am in need of a vehicle for someone and it's urgent! Mainly just trying to see if the milage is correct for the vehicle. The vin number is removed . Any help is appriciated, thanks!

    They arn't worth anything.

I had a buddy run one on his car a GTI he bought brand new in the early 2000's. it came up as a used rental that was in a flood. He bought it brand new! that has forever lost any hope in em.

I removed the vin, if carfax sees (and they look) a posted vin number, they ban the account who looks it up.

It's kinda like "garbage in garbage out".They only know whats been given to them.I have seen some things done and i'm sure others have too that weren't too smooth and as long as nobody puts it in a computer nobody ever knows.Kinda like the camaro getting dogged at tha dealer in the Carolinas.
