All in all a great time. I took two friends in my '79Z but forgot to take a picture of my own car there. The new 383 perfomed great, averaged 15mpg highway, which wasn't too bad considering the load in the car, blasting the a/c, the 70 to 75mph average speed and an hour of good old fashioned New York City traffic jam on the way home. Used about half a pint of oil, and I know most of that leaked due to a pesky oil pan leak I gotta fix. Everyone got to drive, but not everyone got to sit in the back (hey, it's my f'n car!!)

looks like a good time. one of these days i'm going to have to get up there for that. kinda hard when you live in the south like me. who knows maybe some one can get a camaro only show in the south going some where. i have 2 questions for you.
1)was there a good swap meet?
2)was it overloaded with 4th gen cars like the shows around here are going to?

    great pics by the way

    Hey MikeM79,

Add this to your list of orange Camaros! I must have just missed you on Saturday! Patgizz, 1981Paul, and myself went looking for you at the Camaro showfield but you had left already.

I made the 2 hour drive from Savage Maryland in just under an hour and a half. Despite the 95+ degree heat the Hugger Camaro ran nice and cool the whole way up and back. Out of nowhere a couple of cloudbursts managed to doused my car but what the hey...it's a driver!

I hung out with the chevytalk.com crew at their tent shootin the sh!t.

You took some great shots of some awsome Gen IIs!

Ugh! Do I have some dirt to clean up not to mention the bug guts!

    Lou,

Thanks for posting the pics. I am really sorry I missed meeting you and seeing your ride. I had 300 miles to do, so I took off around 2PM or so. Hopefully we can hook up next year.

Nice to put faces and handshakes with names (or surnames). Sorry I had to leave so early on Sat., sure wanted to sit and BS with people. The '81 white Z28 had 8500 original miles, not even dirty underneath!

Mike, thanks for posting the pics. Its nice to be able to go back and relive it. Definately the best showing of 2nd gens yet [IMG] . Camaros had the best representation of any model there. Surprisingly though, there were few goats, 442's and GS's. Sorry I missed you this year. I stopped back a little after three but I guess you had left by then. Nice to meet up with everyone else. Those T's really come in handy to help everyone meet up.
    Roger
