I'll bet I'm the only member of NastyZ who doesn't own/use a cell phone. Long story. About a year ago, I had to get one. Bought this POS from WalMart. I didn't know people calling you diminishes the amount of time you paid for. I was paying for new time every two weeks. Screw that.
My daughter is giving me her old phone. I guess you can do anything you want on it. Question #1 on this post - what is the cheapest monthly cost I can set up? I looked some up and it depends on the gigabites or whatever the hell those things are.......

    Any help would be appreciated.

Most plans come with unlimited voice and text.
Data plans(internet usage and gps) can vary on size and pricing.
I finally went with unlimited everything to keep from getting surprises on my bill. I also have a teenage son that uses ton of internet.

As long as you are in populated areas, T-Mobile is very hard to beat for price. Verizon has a larger network, but unless you're spending a lot of time in BFE, it's not worth it.

I don't live in BFE, but T-Mobile is not worth the powder to blow it away.

Brian will be relocating to upstate New York soon, an area that would not be served well.

T-mobile doesn't have very good coverage. Our inbound scale at work is on a slight rise. Most drivers use T-mobile as it's cheap but when they come down off the rise, they lose all service. AT&T and Verizon have the best coverage. I'll pay a little more to have service when I need it. I didn't want a cell phone for a long time but pay phones have pretty well disappeared so I don't have any choice. I do miss my old flip phone from work. The smart phone isn't what everyone thinks it is.

You are the first person I have run into that didn't say T-mobile sucks.

Verizon has the best reviews consistently. IMO, get an unlimited talk and text and minimum data since it sounds like you'll never use that anyway. Watch you usage and adjust if you find stuff you want it for.

I have 2 phones, one is a Tracfone and it has cheap service. The other service is US Mobile and its great. Unlimited call and text for $14.15 a month, that's a no brainier for me, just bring your own phone and they will tell you if it's compatible. Just need to buy a $4 sim card.

    BECAUSE THEY CAN!!!!
best signal EVERYWHERE......so....guess what...your going to PAY for that!

    Only complaint I had about T-Mobil was..........drop signal/no signal.
Only takes 3 times of hearing the wife.."the damn signal drops everytime 200 ft from work and there is almost NO signal inside the building"... :(
