So they are wise enough to know that there are "variations" of subframes through the years, but can't identify the variations and custom taylor kits to them, or help you to make the universal kit work? Sounds like the business has changed from an engineering company to a company that just retails some legacy engineering.

Last time I went to their location to pick up my rear end the warehouse was a skeleton crew, from what I gathered it was 1 person working in the back fabbing everything, and some lady working the front. I'm not sure what she did specifically, but she ran up my order and has been there for a few years. You were only allowed in the building if you had something to pick up, show room is no longer open.

They use to have a guy named Mike up front, he was very helpful in the past, but he passed away on his ride into work. Since no one is at Sac anymore in the engineering department I am concerned they don't have anyone anymore due to how few people were just working in the warehouse. The amount of back orders they have also somewhat checks out with this assumption if only 1 person is building everything.

Really I think a lot of my problem can get resolved if I stop playing this game of telephone with Carl and just talk with Alston directly, something is being lost here in the communication since I am just being told the front subframe is my problem. I've talked with him before, I don't see why I'm not allowed to talk to him now.

Since they are local to you maybe a visit in person can get it resolved? Email/telephone is sometimes problematic to explain the issue when one side is having a hard time grasping what's being said in my experience. I would also imagine in their line of work they get a lot of guys that don't really know what they are doing so they assume no one really does. In person would probably get you past that stigma.

I have finally found a picture who installed this thing in their camaro

There is no doubt in my mind my parts were made incorrectly now
the bend in the 2x2 sub frame connactors happen after the bump in the floor pan and meet up VERY closely with the subframe bushings like I expected them to

I am going to reach out to this guy and maybe he can get me more pictures and measurements so I can go back to Chassisworks

I am still waiting on Chassiswork's reply to an email I sent on Wednesday

Some updates
I had them give me measurements on the 70-73 torque arm and the 74-81 torque arm

For some reason the 70-73 arm is shorter (which would fit my car)

Right now I am waiting for a measurement on the length of the subframe connectors for the 70-73 and the 74-81
Either the 74-81 connectors are longer (which would make sense) or they need to give me the shorter arm and update their product to give people the shorter arm

I mean, I can wait for the measurements if you're in a move....but whatever
Hopefully they just let me exchange the arm even though it's not technically the right way to fix my problem, it will resolve it.

Final update
They will take my old arm and shorten it by 3.10"
I am still a firm believer that the subframe connectors I have are the real issue and are too short, but they never gave me measurements for me to confirm.
They're not going to re-powdercoat my part even though it came that way...which sucks
