My AWESOME Chevette had the Pioneer super tuner III, cassete eater with an 80 AMP booster eq and MASSIVE Pioneer trx-8 ear bleeders in the rear.....that stuff should have been against the law...causing that kind of hearing damage to teens.
(circa 1980's)
Now even our OLD minivan has MTX 500 watt bloc with 12's hidden under the rearmost seat...lol

very simple little car....recycled beer cans for sure. Just add a timing belt every 40k and you are good. :) don't forget to keep a 16 penny nail handle for the belt change. (think i'm kiddin)

They made a diesel too! I beat one on foot across the parking lot of the dealership I worked at and won a free hot dog at the lunch truck.

Man that's funny right there!I had a friend in high school who had a 'sedan' version of the Chevette. That dude LOVED that little POS car!

I had a Jeep CJ8,all Sony equipment.SR50 auto reverse deck,XM120 amp,XME9 eq/amp for the front 4" Sony speakers and a XE7 for the rear XS808 speakers(note, all part #s are subject to old age and brain cell damage).Man that system ROCKED!Sold the Jeep but kept all the components, they ended up in my 77/78 TA.

Yep. I did the PDI on it and tried to tell the other guys how slow it was. They said there was no way I could beat it on foot. Work boots, coveralls, whooped it. Damn good hot dog too. One of the old fat really unhealthy ones.
