I have no clue what they are going to look like for 78-81 that is an awfully large tail light to be clear. Although, it may look good in a smoke.

I typically like smoked over clear. I have smoked on one of my trucks. Years ago they were actually stolen, then brought back later. I don't remember for sure but I think that it was a week or two later. Some kids parent probably found out and told them to return them to their rightful owner. Luckily the little bastards didn't scratch my truck while taking them.

Ordered resins this evening to make the cab lights for the C10. Although it wont be a Camaro lens it will give everyone the ability to see the quality of the reproduction. Once the cab lenses are done I will start on all of the Camaro parts.

Lots of people saying they're not interested but it would be nice to know why...

And thanks to everyone who has commented. I will have a product to show you real soon.

I think it depends on the color of the car, and or/originality is the factor as why some are not interested.

Me personally I think they would look awesome on a black car, with factory ss and chrome.

The only thing is that you might want to sand the DOT info off your originals before making the mold, those technically would not be DOT approved and you could get yourself into trouble passing them off as so (by leaving DOT info on them)

This is actually a very good point and had already planned on doing this for the tail light lenses.

I understand that some people with more original cars may not be interested but I would like them to state this because I am not omniscient I do not know and can not speculate peoples reasonings for wanting or not wanting a product. I am hopeful that people will continue to provide feedback as more information comes in that way I can make appropriate marketing and product decisions that benefit the maximum number of people.

I made clear side markers with uv resistant polycarbanate..(lexan). I would like to see any type of aftermarket 78-81 taillights, in any style that doesn't cost a arm and a leg like the repops cost.
