I have 16 molds that need cast right now I can cast 4 at a time and all molds take 2 days since there are 2 halves to the molds. So within 8-9 days all the molds will be completed and I can start casting parts again from there.

I can cast 3-4 times per day across 5 molds. It will take a few days to build up a stock of parts and it takes 5 days to fully cure a set once cast. Right now barring any complications we are approximately 2 weeks out from shipping.

Well the stupid silicone gasket tore for the vacuum chamber...note to all Do NOT lay a 14" silicone gasket in any position but completely flat. If left in a folded position for extended time it will crack and tear!!! :(

I used silicone RTV to "glue" gasket back together and will resume mold making in the morning. I decided better to let the silicone RTV dry then dry and make it perform while curing. Unfortunately this means I will be behind one more day but I will have to make it up by using the large pressure chamber to cure multiple molds at once. I have 3 molds that i can squeeze into the one chamber which will allow me to get this show back on track.

Y'all wanted better updates so this is where I am at. I'll have more news for you tomorrow.

This is the first complete lens out of a mold. It is the LH inner lens and includes the 1970 style round center.

Things have been really screwed up and I am sorry for that. Molds are done and parts are curing. Orders will ship soon now that I have fixed the manufacturing process.

The buckets have been painted white. This really brightens up the lenses.

The bottom ones are fresh out of the mold the top ones are OE that have been polished. The resin that is being used is Optically clear. You can really see the difference in this comparison. The OE lenses even after being polished are not optically clear, the are slightly opaque.
