I have a 79 with a 4-speed, I was wondering what height the clutch pedal should be at in relation to the brake pedal? My gas pedal and brake pedal are even but the clutch pedal is significantly higher. I'd say the clutch pedal is at least 3 inches higher than the brake pedal. Is this the normal way the pedals in a 4 speed 79 camaro came from the factory?? I do have the rubber stopping block in place too. I tried searching for an answer but didn't find anything definitive.

I have the same issue in my 73. I have not found a solution either. The clutch pedal being so high can be a safety issue, but to get full clutch travel
we may have to live with it. Any suggestions from our members would be greatly appreciated.

That seems to be normal for power brake cars. With manual brakes the brake pedal is higher & about even with the brake pedal.
