Clutch recommendations for a 2005 LQ4 Swap

    It's actually very common in the Viper community. Stock dual disk clutches have NGR

    That actually depends on the design. In multi disc clutches with a floating intermediate plate (the metal disc in between each clutch disc) they will rattle when the clutch is disengaged (not just at idle). This is normal.

    I know on the Mcleod, the center plate is not floating and this clutch doesn't make any noise. A floating plate sounds like a bad design.

    My rst made the sound as well. It's not earth shattering, a lot of people probably can't hear it

    Slight noise aside, it sounds like you guys with the twins recommend them for a street cruiser standpoint correct?? Easy pedal pressure, smooth 1st gear take offs, etc...

    As for noise, bikes have had multi disc clutches for decades because the increased surface area gives you friction (holding power) needed in a small package and without monster springs. Remember, bike clutches are only squeezed by your fingers.
    Older dry multi disc bike clutches (Harley, Ducati) rattled because that is the nature of them. Wet clutches are damped by oil, no rattle.
