Sorry to hear that 70SS, heard the Springs got hit. We've stayed pretty clean so far this year in Broomfield.

Only had one incident of ~3/8" hail,...not much. Didn't hurt anything, of course.
We've hardly had ANY moisture up here, until just recently - spring moisture never came,...better now with some afternoon rains.

This week has been nice with the afternoon/evening rains. Hoping some of the local car shindigs actually still happen in August, we shall see...

Couple of days of HOT/DRY again,...supposed to cool back into the eighties in a day, or two. Not good weather for driving my BLACK Camaro!
But, I've got the Fiat Spider running like a well-oiled sewing machine,...and it's a silver convertible!
All stay cool,...and stay healthy! Enjoy your weekend!

Escaped the heat by going to timberline yesterday...even caught a few brook trout.
    Have a good week everyone!

I've managed to get 59 new plantings, in the pastures, through the spring, summer, and past August 15th, by bucket-watering! I think I can manage them into winter, now!
A few Rocky Mtn junipers are very small (less than an inch), and a number of them are quite large, for year 1-2,...ponderosas are about 8" now, and some of my 2ond year elms are four foot,...all are bushy and doing well.
Not a good year for driving my car - sun/heat. Good year for finishing others,...well underway with the Fiat Spider.
Not a good year to visit the mountains,...all of our ol' stomping grounds are burning up right now. I'm glad that we frequented them thirty years ago!
Don't forget to vote in November, and remember, you can always drop your ballot off at a local ballot dropbox and avoid the USPS!

Sure is hot and dry A-B, some big fires west of us. We had a big car cruise around Broomfield again yesterday, third one of the year. Cops helped us at the intersections with this one and lots of folks appreciated the drive through their neighborhoods.
    Have a good week!

    Toasty here, again. Baked dry,...!
Stay cool right now - temps cooling for a bit soon.

This heat is KILLER. Bad enough when you can try to stay out of the heat, but anytime working outdoors (such as standing in the driveway sandblasting a Camaro body) just SUCKS.

I saw a sweet-looking 70-73 (I believe) Camaro RS/SS eastbound on CO 119 between Boulder and Longmont yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon about 1:30pm or so - one of you guys, by chance?
