We had a good bit of melting on the initial snow. but we picked up a foot down here. The drifts are a good bit more. Almost time to start digging out.

Gosh,...power, and cell phone service came back up after about 28 hours - good to have a wood stove!! It was nasty pouring boiling water (in the middle of the night) on the pond to melt a hole in the ice, for the fish.
Quite a bit of evergreen tree damage. Our biggest ponderosas got a bit mangled. All will live, but one is gonna be a little ugly on one side,...NE. We spent most of the last two days knocking snow off of the trees. Tiring moving around in snow this deep,...getting plenty of exercise!
Got some four foot drifts,...probably a foot and a half of heavy, wet snow overall.
All be careful in this stuff!
