Not looking too good from that forecast A-B.

Got a 'tich' of rain and some tiny hail from a passing thunderstorm the other eve, but only enough to wet the ground. I bucket-watered all 72+ plantings over the weekend, due to the lack of moisture.
Hot today,...I saw 99 on our thermometer. 98 tomorrow,...97 Thursday. Then cools a bit, beginning Friday,...
Not good weather to drive a charcoal-black Camaro, with no A/C! It stays in the garage for now,...

100+ in the first half of June. Pretty scary thinking about July and August.
At least the new place has AC - we'd be dying already in our old apartment.

    Stay cool out there!

We got some rain here, on Saturday - while we were hiking in Wyo!
    Hot today, and tomorrow,...then cooler.

Oh, Yay! Mother Nature has NOT 'turned off the faucet', yet! Rain today, rain last week, too.
    Lovin' it!

Heard Greeley got 3-4" in an hour and a half or so. Good monsoon flow today!

Yeah, we saw the black weather to our south, moving east,...a lot of water in that storm! We've got our share already, so I'm glad it tracked south of us!
My 72+ pasture plantings are doing quite well with this great weather pattern. The "3.5' ponderosa" is now about 6'+,...and BTW, currants spread!
As soon as I complete this new exterior door re-framing/installation, I'm going to be prepping my '79 Fiat Spider for paint,...perhaps I'll have some time to drive my Camaro,...
All have a safe and happy fourth!

Toasty days, but not too bad, considering it's July. Can still hope we don't see many more above 100. Seems like most of the people I talk to complain about the cold in the winter and then complain about the heat in the summer. I never complain about the cold - this gives me the right to complain about the heat!

Hey AB - bought my first tree a couple weeks ago. Box Elder (I think). If it lives, might put another on the other side of the yard, and maybe one in the back. Sure don't have space for any more than that! Ignore the brown in my lawn - I've actually gotten most of that to turn green in the last week! I added the flagpole a couple weeks ago, as well.

Camaro body got moved. Found a "body guy" that came highly recommended by a co-worker. Took it to him a couple weeks ago. Got pics last night. One posted in my project thread if you want to see. Can't wait to get it back next week and start putting her back together!
