We put the Camaro on hold and spent the last few weeks working on Jeeps, then went Jeeping near Buena Vista Sept 19-25 for the "Fall Colors Tour". Maybe I mentioned doing the same ride last year. Likely will do it next year, too!
Much fun and VERY relaxing. I didn't realize how tightly I was wound until we got up there and it all drained away.
Back to working on the Camaro, Saturday I put the steering box on the subframe. Thought it would be nice to be able to steer the car when it's on it's wheels. I have tie rods and tie rod ends already, but had to order the center link.
I'm hoping to get that done this coming Saturday and get it off the rotisserie.
Been trying to "get it off the rotisserie" for what - 6 weeks now?
Getting closer though.
Now THAT'S what I call Jeeping! Cool!
Off the rotisserie.
You asked for it!
It went onto the rotisserie almost 2 years ago (Oct 28, 2019), and before that, it was in pieces on a trailer. This car hasn't had its own wheels under it in 20 years.
Now it's just sitting too high. Time to start adding some weight to it!
Beautiful, Jerry! Nice,...
And I'd bet that the Torque Thrust D wheels are as old as that car,...they're easy for me to recognize, I watched these cars come out new,...I was 17 in '73!!
