A full 6" on our deck,...drifts of about 2'. WE DID GOOD!
My pastures 'captured it nicely (they aren't bare, anymore - horses are gone), and it will add to the ground moisture that we'll need come July, when Mother Nature dries it up around here,...It is melting quickly, with the temps. My pasture plantings should really do well this year!
Sorry that you guys didn't get more. Let's hope the moisture keeps coming!
Closing? Well THAT really sucks,...my nephew has been racing there, for the past several years.
On a happier note,...the "three foot ponderosa", in the pasture (that my wife, and I, moved from where it accidentally came up in the front yard), has a mourning dove nest in it. It's only about 7' tall,...nest is at eye-level - the trees' first nest!
Enjoy the nice weather, all!
Lots of rain here today and tonight, pea to marble size hail late Tuesday night piled up pretty good. We don't have our native prairie mix seed in yet so lots of erosion, big mud flow over the bottom of our crushed asphalt drive. We've got lots of clean up when things dry out, and figuring out how best to channel water under the driveway.
