I first read about these, https://www.compcams.com/max-lift-bsr-shaft-rocker-system-for-gm-ls3-rectangle-port.html, in a dragzine article. I like the concept so I decided to give them a try. I've got a LS3 stroker with .654 lift cam and it wants to pull timing at high RPMs. I've been thinking its picking up the noise from the valve train. So I put these in to try and quiet down the valve train.
Going to put some time on them and then hopefully if they ever decide to allow people to start living again I can get it in to do another dyno tune and see if they make any difference. But the valve train is definitely quieter to my naked ears.

Heres a short video of start up.
I'm in the process of installing a similar motor in my 78 :)

I do like the fact that LS engines have factory shaft rockers. Reminds me of my 340 T/A Mopar engine. Very easy to set the valve lash with shaft rockers.

So do mighty 235's L6 engines from the 50's. But we don't have to worry about the noise. :D
