control arm hardware

What about the upper control arm shaft to frame bolts? are they anything special? I recall them being knurled but not sure. Classic industies has a complete set of hardware and in the picture they do not look special . I had everything in the cart @ 27.99 but refuse to pay 15 .00 shipping TIA

Shipping costs have gotten really crazy lately. I've started buying parts at a local repop parts dealer, Restoration World, as they group special orders together and therefore spread the shipping costs across many buyers. You have to wait a bit longer sometimes is the downside. I recommend these folks. They have treated me very well so far.

Kind of a kludge, but you can use standard bolts of the correct length. Grade 5 or better. To keep them from turning you can tack weld the heads to the frame.

Thanks for the screaming chicken link I also found them on the AMK link provided by you guys.
The ones from classic industries are not knurled , they also state "not for use on OE control arms"
