I needed a sub for my Blazer and reluctantly tried one of these.

I am impressed, way more boom available then I'll ever need/want. Might be an idea if you want the sub but you're low on room or just don't want the box in the way.

I recall when those hit the market. Cool idea but NOT all of them were "useful". Nowadays you may have to see what SIZE wheel the thing fits in as If they are still only 15" poor thing would slop all around in your 20" wheel ..

Yeah....., probably not since you tighten it down through the middle just like the spare tire ;) Mine is sitting sideways in the spare without any issue.

Not my car but you get the idea.

Cool idea for packaging a sub/amp.
I might consider one of these for the Camaro if my Infinity BassLink II ever poops out on me.

I was curious about the spare location on your Blazer.
My 2000 Jimmy (4 dr) had the spare under the rear of the truckling.
(And the little crank/lowering device would rust and make it impossible to access the spare when you actually needed it. :( )

Some had it outside, some inside. The two door has the fuel tank where your spare was. The picture I posted is of a Blazer just like mine . It fits under the cover so no one knows it's there.

The rods that come with it were too small so I have to get some threaded rod and extend the factory j-hook etc. Pretty easy. I expected crap sound but it's as good as the sub in my truck. I'm not a big boom boom guy though, just enough to feel the drums a bit :)

Many new cars have these, especially the SUV's. Might want to try the salvage yards, could be cheaper than new I suppose. I do some car wash and details in my driveway at home (helps pay for Camaro parts) and I started noticing these things. A Mazda CR5 owned by a little old lady was the first one I noticed, I even briefly thought "maybe she would not even miss it (or even know what it was) if I happened to remove it for her. But I'm too honest for that.
