Years ago (like early '80s) I got involved with a local shop when I had a problem with my '76 Monza (original V8 car). Guy that ran the shop was Bill Kee and he ran a Pro Stock Vega called "Grandpa's Toy".Baby Camaros is what they were called when they first came out. And were even more interesting with Bill "Grump " Jenkins Toys Pro Stocks .And with Don Hardys and others kits to mount big and small block chevys in them .I have seen them with a Buick aluminum 215 small block in them.
Learned a lot from him and spent a LOT of time in his shop working on MY car, and some of his.
Saginaw in the Monza now was his spare for the Vega. Gave it to me when he launched the car on the road behind the shop and blew the tailshaft housing at the snap ring!
