How many courtesy lights were in an 80 Z28?
Driver side, Pass side, Ashtray, and glove box?
What they were made of? I have plastic light on the driver's side. metal bracket light at the pass side and a different bulb which I'm not sure where it belongs since it is much different from the others (it is inlined with the pass side door light switch. a small bulb with rectangular black housing - no bracket or so).

I think your "unknown" light might be for the shifter bezel.
79-81 automatic cars had a lighted shifter plate.

But that light doesn't have a metal bracket in my car so I'm not sure about yours.

It's not the shifter bezel.
The shifter bezel is in location as far as I remember. I'll confirm on Sunday.

The metal brackets were used in '74 for sure. Grey plastic brackets late 70's till early 80's.
