This is sad to see how COVID19 is affecting the Airline industry . This video is from the Socal logistics Airport in Victorville Ca , the old George AFB and not far from were i live .There is over 400 commercial aircraft being stored at this location due to Covid 19

COVID19 has all but destroyed the Airline industry and many may never recover at all . Most of the planes stored here are from Delta and Southwest airlines

I’ve seen that video. I agree the airline industry is in the worst shape that I have ever seen. I am part of that industry luckily there were enough folks that took early retirement that my job is for now secure.

    Interesting...
Although a VERY large portion of those planes were FedEx units, who are moving more stuff than ever.

The storage fee's that Fedex , Southwest and Delta airlines are being billed must be very expensive

Out of all the bad stuff that's happening with COVID I just can't seem to put the airlines on the top of my worry list.

Believe it or not, storage fees are not that bad. It depends on the level of stoage, short, medium, or long term.
Each level has different system preservation requirements. And regardless of storage level the aircraft are moved at least once a month to prevent tire and bearing flatspotting, and as a minimum, the engines motored over.
