And then you gotta ignore anything other than his address to send him the $5.00
Yeah, or just an *******, like the guy that tailed so close (at 1am on an empty interstate) in a lowered dodge dakota that I could no longer even see the ambient glow of his headlights. I politely tapped the brakes, he passed, jumped in front and hit his, then proceeded to get back behind me and snuggle in close again, honking his horn randomly and throwing the bird. So I just slammed on brakes.....hard to be an ******* and tailgate someone when you no longer have headlights.
I was in my work truck too, had to do some peeling of silver paint off my black bumper when I got to the next truck stop.
Yeah, his reply to that email was his address to send the five bucks......that's it. I'm done.
you are a way nicer guy than me Doug...
I woulda offered a refund when I had the antenna back in my posession..
You're a nice guy.
Sincerely, because I would have handled that differently and rather foolishly
Doug it looks like you have it under control
A while back we sold my sons pickup.... the guy showed up well after to dark and wanted to "look" at the truck... when he got there I convinced him to come back again and look a it in the daylight... so he did.... I showed him all the receipts we had on the work we had done on the truck (small oil leak, belts.. ect) nothing major
long story short he bought the truck
2 weeks later he calls me and wants me to go halves on another small oil leak
he called 3 times before he got the message
so your buyer isnt the only one
I always meet in public unless its not possible. I've only had one guy ask for money back. I sold him a transfer case out a suburban gave him the model number and all info I could get, he said the model number was the same as his. He called me a week after buying it saying that the transmission shop said it was different then his, and he wanted to bring it back. I told him he could return it if he wanted, but I wasn't giving him any money for it. I look at it as if you buy it, you keep it. Its not my fault you didn't research properly first.
Not to mentioned it probably pushed the radiator back into the front of the block
Yeah I didn't hang around long enough to check, I got back up to speed almost as fast as my decelleration.
