    PROCOMP CYLINDER HEAD DYNO TEST.

PRO COMP as cast 180cc, and cnc'd 210cc (worst)

used Stock GM vortec 1 ton p/u truck heads 30hp gain (good)

Brodix IK 180 as cast, 35hp gain over the vortec (very good)

AFR 195 eliminators, 37hp gain over the IK 180's (Best)

they arnt bad if you only have 650 bucks to spend on alum. heads. try skip white from whites performance if you want a pair, if you have 1400 buy the afr 195's, but if your just a guy with a low budget they will work for a 400 hp sbc.

someone explain to me how you say ALUMINUM $1000+ heads can only support 500 HP. when you see people running FACTORY heads (ported out the ass im sure) and pushing 700 HP+++ at my local drag strip and everywhere else. enlighten me

Skip White makes them sound like they're pretty good for the money, for a budget 400 hp sbc.

    .

Found that in an article somewhere.
They used a basic 355" Chevy, and used the same short block for all the dyno pulls.
No changes were made except heads.
