It's funny how an auction sale works sometimes. When there's more than one party that wanted a certain item(s), then the price of that item(s) could skyrocket well beyond what its actually worth. Just my experience.

I have an old metal Coca Cola sign that was being used as a heat shield in a used ice fishing hut I bought a couple years ago. It's still in good shape, i pulled it out when i replaced the wood stove. I keep meaning to post it on a forum, I'm sure it is worth a few bucks to some collector.

I had a car for sale on Marketplace a couple years ago and in the background you could see my Atlantic sign. Yep, had a guy offer me $300 for it. There's one on ebay for $1200.
