Anyone here have disabled plates or a placard on your Camaro . My Primary care health doctor at the VA signed DMV paperwork yesterday so I can get permanent disabled plate or placard . Just wondering if you guys have the plate or the placard , I've got Calif personalized plates right now

People will certainly give you some strange looks with handicap plate/placard on your Camaro Chuck...but pay them no mind. ;)

I was thinking of removing my Motion Performance license plate frame and in its place a USMC Disabled Veteran frame

It will feel weird parking closer to a store in those large parking lots as I've always parked my Camaro as far away as possible to avoid parking lot dings /dents

This!!! You earned that parking spot through service to our country.

Around here it's not uncommon to see placards or hard plates on classics. My uncle rocks the placards on his 53 Ford, 41 Chevy and his 87 dodge frankentruck. My brother has the hard plates on his 73 C10 and my dad uses his placard on his 85 elco street/strip car. My grandma before she passed effectionately dubbed her placard the "crip stick" I say go for it and not give a rip about what others think.

    my dad's 76 Datsun 280Z has a custom plate 76 280Z (appropriate huh)

and he has a handicap hand tag hanging off the rear view mirror, so he always parts in handicap spots...even at cruise ins, which is kinda weird

no one has EVER given him any crap

    .

They offered me one and I refused. I can still walk fine, it just hurts like hell.
On bad days I use my crutches, and just walk slow.
My G/F uses her's, she got the hanger, so she can use it on multiple vehicles.
A lot of times we use one of my trucks so that way she can bring the hanger with us when buying crap for her garden.

I'm thinking the hanger is more convenient in most cases???

Very true.....most of us suffer from Camaro OCD. Very disturbing disorder, but we can manage it to some extent with Jegs therapy!
