Dish or Direct?

    Which satellite company is better and why?

    Seems like Dish Network is the better deal right now to me but I want peoples input.

    I have had both. Dish all the way!!! Better customer service in our area. Cheaper upgrades, etc....

    DTV here. Been with them for 6 yrs and always been top notch service. In fact I have had 4 friends and relatives change over from dish because they have had issues with them. I think they both offer good service. Has more to do with your specific area than anything. See what people say CLOSE to your home.;)

    I'm looking at the America's Top 200 package. Dish Network says free HD for life but I didn't see any HD channels listed in the package. Maybe I missed it?

    I have DirecTV for over 12 years with no issues.4 HD receivers and 1 HD-DVR for me.

    if you have unlimited internet. look into a roku or other internet tv box. Just a suggestion.

    They both suck & neither care about you as an existing customer. All they want are new customers. I'd get one & swap every year (If I weren't so lazy).

    Roku seems pretty limited to what you can watch. I wouldnt be able to watch History, discovery, Nat Geo and channels like that.
